NetConnect™ IRD facilitates the preparation of items, bundles, and cash letters to be printed as X9.100-140 compliant substitute checks, or Image Replacement Documents (IRDs). Working with NetConnect™ Decision Gateway™, this application processes checks that have been decisioned for IRD clearing. NetConnect IRD is fully compliant with X9.100-140 and can produce all required types of forward and return IRDs, along with associated bundle detail lists (kill lists) and cash letter summaries.
The application also provides workflow, reconcilement, auditing, and reprinting tools needed to control and monitor the process, mitigating print risk and ensuring complete IRD cash letters. An institution may establish any number of IRD print centers using NetConnect IRD.
