NetConnect™ ARC enables Accounts Receivable Conversion (ARC) for clearing electronically captured items. With NetConnect ARC, financial institutions can offer ARC conversion as a clearing alternative to image exchange or image replacement documents (IRD). Working with NetConnect Decision Gateway™, this application processes checks that have been decisioned and are eligible for ARC clearing.
ARC is becoming more prevalent as retail remittance processors look for ways to reduce paper-handling costs. However, there are limitations on the types of checks that are eligible for ARC check conversion. NetConnect ARC allows you to offer an ARC check conversion alternative to customers, along with the ability to handle non-qualified checks through alternative clearing channels, such as IRD or image exchange.
