NetDeposit Reports Significant Increases in Transaction Volumes and Adoption Rates
Organization Prepared to Facilitate Growth, Create New Product Offerings and Extend Market Leadership Across the Financial Services Landscape
Salt Lake City, Utah — April 25, 2006— NetDeposit, Inc. (www.netdeposit.com), an innovator in Check 21 software and the leading provider of remote deposit capture solutions for the financial industry, has seen a dramatic increase in the adoption of electronic check processing in the banking industry, and this new capability is changing how banks compete. In the past 90 days, while the company has introduced new software and services, electronic check transaction volume has grown nearly two-hundred percent, the largest jump in this type of processing since the inception of Check 21.
“These numbers truly reflect the growing competitive imperative of the Check 21 advantage and our leadership position in the market,” said Danne Buchanan, CEO of NetDeposit. “And we are now only at the beginning of what Check 21 will mean for banks, corporate customers and the consumer.”
In the first quarter of this year, NetDeposit brought the competitive advantage of Check 21 payments to a broader range of banks through the launch of the latest version of its NetCapture Business remote deposit capture software, delivered an on-demand service with its NDpro Managed Services hosted solution and added one of the southwest’s premier banks, 1st National Bank Holding Company, to its growing list of clients.
As a result of its strides in RDC technology adoption among banking partners, the company saw existing customers increase their use of Check21 payments.
- NetDeposit generated a 190 percent increase over transaction volumes of the previous quarter and
- More than 1,000 new corporate end users have been added since January,
- 24,406,641 Check 21 payments were processed during the first quarter of 2006. Compared to one year ago, this represents an astounding 1466 percent increase from the first quarter 2005 transaction volume of 1,664,756.
- 4,854 total deployed seats at the end of the first quarter marks a 131 percent increase from the fourth quarter 2005 total of 3,693 and a year-over-year increase of 730 percent from first quarter 2005.
The company has met this rapid market expansion with a re-organization into three operating divisions to emphasize specific growth areas. Each of these divisions is lead by an executive vice president.
Mary Hockridge will lead the Product Management, Professional Services and Marketing Division; Ed White now heads the National Sales and Relationship Management Division; and William Wong is responsible for Product and System Engineering as well as Technical Support.
“Each of these individuals directly contributes to the industry transformations we are making at NetDeposit,” commented Royce Brown, COO of NetDeposit. “As we look to the growth ahead, we are confident that the organization has the right leadership to offer our clients, their corporate customers and consumers the competitive advantage of remote deposit from any location in the world.”
